Choir loft showing the church's new John Paul Buzard, Opus 42 organ |
This 2013 installation replaces the former organ, E.M.Skinner Opus 574 which was originally built in 1926-27 for the Monument Avenue Episcopal Church in Richmond. When the church closed, the organ was moved to St. Brriget (ca.1975) and it was restored by Jim Andrews at some point. (Information provided by Jeff Scofield and the Aeolian Skinner Archives) By 2007, the Skinner was badly in need of restoration, and the new organ was commissioned. |
